In 2020, Platform 09 embarked on a journey that revolved around the theme of “Harmony.” This five-day event, offered to the Fujairah community as a heartfelt gift for their unwavering love and support, was characterised by its free entrance, emphasising inclusivity and accessibility.

“Harmony” stood as a testament to the unique journey of every woman in her pursuit of authenticity. The event’s core focus was on celebrating, supporting, and uniting female Arab designers, artists, and entrepreneurs. It created a holistic experience centred around themes like culture, technology, balance, unity, and more.

A standout feature of the event was “The Forum,” which had been the heart and soul of Platform 09 since its inception in 2014. This year, the forum took on a special role, celebrating and showcasing female Arab artists and performers. It transformed into an experiential theater that hosted a diverse range of performances across various art forms..

The live performances were nothing short of extraordinary, featuring the talents of renowned singer Zain Awad, parkour instructor Amal Mourad, pianist Eman Al Hashimi, sand artist and story teller Shayma Al Mughairi, and the mesmerising singer Macadi Nahhas. These artists brought their unique talents to the stage, enchanting the audience with their artistic expressions. 

The event served as a platform for unity, empowerment, and artistic excellence, with the participation of esteemed guests like Lojain Omran and Dr. Sara Al Madani who were part of our celebration of women’s journey.
